Robert Brooks has practiced criminal trial and appellate law in state and federal courts for more than 25 years. He has tried many major felony jury trials, and has appealed numerous cases during his career. He’s been in private practice for most of his career, though he served as an assistant federal public defender for several years.

He is a graduate of the University of Memphis School of Law and the National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute, a member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and served on the Board of Directors for several years.
